Registration requires an approved secure email provider. Visit the sign-up page, enter your email, and follow the verification steps. If your email provider is not approved, you can view the list of accepted providers during registration.
Click "Forgot password" on the login page and enter your registered email address. You will receive a password reset link. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.
Navigate to your profile settings from the sidebar menu. Under the security section, you can enable two-factor authentication using an authenticator app.
Go to Dashboard > Accounts and click "Add Account". You can manually create an account or connect a bank via our secure Plaid integration for automatic syncing.
Yes. Open the account detail page, and click the upload icon in the transactions toolbar. Upload your CSV file and review the parsed transactions before saving. You can swap debit/credit if the signs are reversed.
In the transactions toolbar, click the reconcile button. Enter your statement date, starting balance, and ending balance from your bank statement. Check off each transaction that matches. When the difference shows zero, your account is reconciled.
Credit card accounts use "Purchase" (instead of debit), "Credit", and "Payment" types. You can click on a credit-type transaction to switch it to payment and vice versa.
Sapphire supports 18 asset categories including Real Estate, Metals, Commodities, Stocks, Automobiles, Aircraft, Watercraft, Jewelry, Art, Private Equity, and more.
For metals, crypto, stocks, and commodities, prices are updated automatically via market data feeds. For other asset types, you can manually update valuations or upload supporting documentation.
Net worth is the sum of all account balances and asset valuations across your portfolio. You can view a detailed breakdown on the Net Worth page in the dashboard.
On the account detail page, select a specific month from the date filter, then click the document icon in the transactions toolbar. A PDF statement will be generated for that period.
Yes. Transaction data can be exported from the transactions page. Reports including profit & loss, cash flow, and subscription summaries are available under the Reports section.
When you create an accounts receivable or accounts payable account, you can enable loan tracking in the account settings. Configure the loan type (amortizing, interest-only, fixed principal, balloon), term, start date, and interest rate.
Yes. A daily process checks all loan-tracked accounts and creates interest and principal transactions on the same day of the month as the loan start date, based on the configured APR and loan type.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication uses HMAC-signed tokens and database-backed sessions. We do not store plaintext passwords.
All data is stored on secure servers within the European Union (EU-West-1) to comply with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.
Yes. Contact support to request account deletion. We will remove your personal data subject to any legal retention requirements.
